Parents Driving Change (PDC) is a movement to encourage parents to recognize and use their innate ability to lead, by sharing their experiences with other community members, as well as the organizations that support them.
Our flagship program is the Parents Driving Change model. A PDC supports parents who want to lead and create change in their own communities. We support, train and encourage them to take action for themselves, instead of waiting for others to do it for them. Individuals work with the "5 Pillars" of government, faith-based groups, non-profit organizations, businesses, health and wellness, and education. The PDC model has been replicated across the nation.

The PDC mission to empower, encourage, and support parents to look within themselves to find everything they need to strengthen their families. A parents' voice matters. Because the family is the most important unit on the earth, our goal is to focus on parents and remind them that they are the most important force in their child's life and a powerful force in their communities.
Monthly meetings use the community café model and the Strengthening Families Five Protective Factors as the basis for all work. PDCs take the time to find out what each parent is passionate about, equip them valuable tools and supportive education, and help foster community relationships to create change.

I was with Janae from the start when she decided to move forward to create Humans Driving Change. Her ideas were fresh and parent-friendly. We needed a voice for parenting groups and she found it for us. Janae taught us how to lead and connected us to the right people.
